The latest revision of the AS9100 standard (REV. D) is broken down by clauses in the sections below to make it easier to understand and put into action. There are 10 clauses (sections) with supporting sub-clauses. Clauses 0-3 are introductory and informative. The requirements to be applied to your quality management system (QMS) do not begin until clause 4, Context of the Organization. Section 0: Introduction

Section 3: Terms and Definitions

Section 4: Context of the Organization
Determine and document relevant interested parties, quality management system scope and processes as well as their sequence, interaction, responsibilities, and authorities.
